The clock face can also be attached to a window so that when you
move or resize the window, the clock automatically moves to a specified
position.
The settings are as follows:
- HOOK - Enable/disable hooking (automatic switching mode).
- Caption of the window - Caption of the window you want to hook the clock to.
When a window containing the specified string in its
caption appears, the selected profile will be
automatically applied. You can use the standard
wildcard symbols of substituting a question mark (?)
for one character and an asterisk (*) for several.
- Capture position - set position of the clock relative to the active window.
If you move the window, the clock also moves to stay at
the same place within the window.
- Only when active - the hooked profile will be applied only when the window
is active.
How to customize a Hook to a specific window:
- Use Profile Wizard to create a new profile.
- Select "Hook this profile" option.
- Select an application you want to attach the clock to.
You can select it from a list or enter the window heading manually.
- Run the application you have attached the clock to and fine-tune the
profile by adjusting the desired parameters.
Use this method to customize the appearance of the clock to better suit
the look and feel of applications you often work with.
